This training is for hiring managers, recruiters, and all other interviewers to gain cultural competencies needed for interviewing and hiring in the 21st Century.
Course Highlights
This online course focuses on diversity in the employment interview process, which is the critical point that determines whether diverse applicants are brought into an organization or kept out.
It offers insights into the unique perspectives of diverse job applicants and ideas on how to break through the barriers that bias and cultural misunderstandings can cause in the interview process. The areas of diversity in this course involve ethnicity, sexual orientation, disabilities, age, and size.
This course includes videos of diverse applicants sharing their experiences and thoughts related to the employment interview process. These are real people from Lila Kelly's research, not actors using a script. The quotes used in this course are also taken from real people and real situations. Identifying information, however, has been changed.
